News:

7/29/08: Casualties of War is the WINNER of the 2008 Scribe Award for Best Speculative Fiction Novel (Original)! Writer or not, I lack the words to describe how honored and thrilled I am. Huge thanks to IAMTW and especially the judges who generously donated their time to read all those submissions. The smile's going to stay on my face for weeks...

4/20/08: The nominees for the 2008 Scribe Awards have been announced - and Casualties of War is on the short list! The Scribe Awards are presented by the International Association of Media Tie-In Writers, and I'm absolutely giddy about making the cut for a second year (Exogenesis was a 2007 nominee). Check out IAMTW's site for details about the other nominees and the awards ceremony to be held at the San Diego Comic-Con in July.

3/8/08: This year I was invited to be a guest at a terrific convention called TimeGate in Atlanta. Since I unfortunately had to decline the invitation, I instead did an interview for their website, which you can find here. And if you're going to be in the Atlanta area over Memorial Day weekend, check out TimeGate!

12/5/07: Blood Ties has arrived! You can order the book from Amazon (finally!) or from www.stargatenovels.com, or stalk your neighborhood bookstore of choice.

9/16/07: Here's a quick report and some pictures from the Chicago Stargate convention last month. Many thanks to everyone who came out to the event; I brought many more books than last year and sold out yet again!

Although currently a resident of central Ohio, Elizabeth Christensen still considers Novi, Michigan, to be her hometown. A civilian engineer with the U.S. Air Force, she works on aviation alternative fuels projects at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base. She received two aerospace engineering degrees and witnessed five seasons of stellar football from the University of Michigan. When not dodging Nerf balls thrown by her coworkers, she shares pilot-in-command time in a Grumman Tiger airplane with her husband.
